Health Care Professionals Wanted- Midwifes/ Nurses/ HCAs/ Phlebotomists for Locum Positions

King’s Phlebotomists are looking nation wide for qualified and experienced Health Care Professionals to join us for a new concept in Phlebotomy. We need individuals with excellent venepuncture skills to collect Umbilical Cord Blood from the placenta during child birth. Cord Blood Collection experience is desired however we do provide training. 

King’s Phlebotomists are looking for applicants with these qualities:

• Professional 
• Reliable
• Courteous
• Polite
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible approach to work
• Available to be on call 24 hours when client goes into labour
• Able to provide overnight cover
• Attend births at short notice

King’s Phlebotomists require from you:

• CV
• At least 6 months UK venepuncture experience
• A copy of current CRB check/ Disclosure Scotland-max with the last 3 years
• Phlebotomy Certificate OR Reference confirming experience and competency in Venepuncture and Vacutainer technique 
• UK Work permit
• Copy of Immunization History report
• 2 Passport size photographs

King’s Phlebotomists also require their HCP’s to have access to a car as you will be working on call traveling to different hospitals and rapid response to the hospital is required.
